Ingaleshwar is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India. It is located in the Basavana Bagevadi taluk of Bijapur district in Karnataka. Ingaleshwar is Basavanna's mothers village; Ingaleshwar is the birth place of Shri Basaveshwara ( Basavanna ), the 12th century Saint, initiator of Lingayat religion.
Ingaleshwar is one of the holy place for all Lingayats.
