In Muscat the basava devotees group called Basava Balaga Muscat organizing Mahamane’s and every year Basava Jayanthi and this year was the 8th year in 2018 of celebration in Muscat.
BBM Basava Philosophy
Basava Balaga Muscat is Convene Basava philosophy of life and Explaining of other contemporary Sharanas of the 12th Century. BBM works towards practising Basava philosophy in our everyday life like All are equal, Development & & to invite knowledgeable speakers, arrange for and conduct talk residents in, while celebrating Basava Jayanthi in Muscat, Oman by exposing them to the ancient Basava philosophical knowledge.

Basava Balaga Muscat Started in 2011 & Starting three years on Basava Jayanthi is celebrated during monthly Maha Mane in sharanu’s house and gathered all Basava Bhakta’s
Year 2014, 04th Year program was presided over by Shri Sha. Bra. Dr. Mahanthalinga Shivacharya Swamiji, Shrimad Vibhuthipura Veerasimhasana Samsthan Math, Vibhuthipura, Marathalli Post Bengaluru, Karnataka 560037 India and Mr. Gona Swamy Janapada Singer from Kolar / Bengaluru.

Year 2015, 5th Year program was presided over by Seer of the Panchamasali Jagadguru Mahapeetha Sri Basava Jaya Mrutyunjaya Swamiji , Kudalasangama (also written as Kudala Sangama) (Kannada: ಕೂಡಲ ಸಂಗಮ) in India is an important canter of pilgrimage for people of the Lingayat religion. It is located about 15 km (9 mi) from the Almatti Dam in Bagalkot district of Karnataka state. The Krishnaand Malaprabha River rivers merge here.

Year 2016, 6th year program was presided over by Poojya Shree Dr. Basavling Pattadevaru, Hiremath Samsathan. bhalki, Bidar district, Karnataka

Year 2017, 7th Year, this year program was presided over by Shri Nijagunananda Swamiji Nishkala Mantapa Bailur – Belgaum district, Karnataka and Inaugurated by His excellency Shri Indra Mani Pandey the Indian Ambassador to Sultanate of Oman. More than 450 people participated along with many key people from Indian community and associations. During the program, apart from speech by guest on lord Basaveshwara message to society many cultural programs was an attraction. The 4 hours program was well planned and touched to heart of all audience of different community and language.

Year 2018, 8th Year, We Basava Balalga Muscat celebrated BASAVA JAYANTHI on 04th May 2018 at Krishna Temple, Darsait, Muscat. The memories to make further green we invited the Chief Guest Poojya Shri Akka Annapurna Tai from Karnataka The Basava Seva Pratishthan Bidar. Follows the Basava principles and preaches to the society and on our invitation accepted and attained His excellency Shri Indra Mani Pandey the Indian Ambassador to Sultanate of Oman witnessed the program. The celebration started sharp by 10.00 am conclude by 13 30 hrs followed by our balaga children & family members delivering and recalling our heritage memories conclude by Ashirvachanas by Mataji and last but not least with Maha Prasada (Traditional)
